Bought my first investment home
I own 2 single family rental homes. 1 for 6 years and 1 for 4. They have both been rented for the entire time I have owned them. One has appreciated about 40% and the other about 80%. I am now wondering if it is prudent to sell one or both and do a 1031 exchange and get a property(s) that could get more depreciation, fetch more rent/income,...
Me and my wife are full time accountants but we have four multi family properties; 1 fourplex, 1 triplex and 2 duplexes. We manage the properties ourselves.
I'm currently working as accountant and would like to learn more about real estate investing and flipping properties as another source of income. Not sure if I would need a real estate license.
