I have owned real estate over 40 years, some as rentals, always a residence. I am seeking to diversify retirement portfolio with a real-estate component to boost returns, and become less dependent on traditional financial markets. Using Tax-deferred accounts to purchase investment property is a big part of this.
I'm just getting started and currently do not own any investment properties. Just looking for information and ideas on investing before I take that leap.
