I am a mother, nurse and a doctoral student living in Philadelphia. I have a suburban rental property, a property I reside in legally owned by both myself and my mother, and a third property that creates no income. My mother is living there and the expenses (taxes, HOA, and insurance) are more than I can comfortably afford.
