I have lived in the Harrisburg area since 1968. I grew up in Mechanicsburg then after college got married to my high school sweetheart and we moved to Perry County (a rural area outside metropolitan Harrisburg).
After getting a good job as a young man and having read many books about real estate investing I decided to get my license, while laid off from my job in the early 80's, to get my feet wet. Once back to work I did some investing in single family and than got out before the market took a dump.
