My name is Scott, I'm just starting out with my first rental property and I'm learning as I go. Trying to absorb as much useful information as I can, and learn from other people's experiences. Right now I'm working 2 jobs to catch up on bills, and also to ensure that I can get this rental property off the ground without too much trouble.
I am Retired Military, I have my own Construction Business, There isn't anything that I do not know about a House, I have 15 plus years in Home Remodeling & Renovation and am a Certified Home Inspector.
Along with my brother, wife, and manager I have been investing in student housing in Madison Wisconsin for the past 30 years. I also invest agricultural land and I've done a few flips over the years. We are primarily buy and hold investors. I was also a broker for 20 years.

My husband and I own a buy and hold real estate company in Riverton, WY. I am a commercial lender at a local bank and we are looking to expand our portfolio. We currently have single and multi family homes and have done some work in the live in fix and flip space.
I've spent most of my professional career serving in the military, teaching, serving on a board of education, and working in Technology departments within corporate America.
My plan is to learn right now so that I can jump in and start my path to financial independence. I'm very green and very cautious.
