I have very little experience in the real estate industry. I own a couple of rental properties and several years ago was a real estate appraiser. I would like to learn the ropes concerning buying foreclosed and distressed properties to make a good return. Don't care if I get rich quick... just want to get rich.
I currently have one condo managed out of state. Work full time in non-RE field. Want to build investment portfolio for residual income and planning for retirement in about 10 years. Plan to invest in partnership with my son who is currently in Navy and co-owner of our condo.
