My name is Richard Chagnon. i am 53 and new to real estate investing. So new in fact I have yet to buy my first property. I am reading and learning everyday so I believe I will make my first offer soon. More than a little nervous though.
I'm a licensed Texas Realtor but I mostly became licensed for my husband and myself to flip & hold properties. I do occasionally take clients, mostly other investors. We have been landlords for a while, but I'd like to learn more, especially about buying off market or auction properties.
I have owned several single family dwellings over 10 years ago and purchased a 14 unit complex to simplify and have maintained for a decade.
I'm new to real estate investing(no experience). I'm interested in learning more of the different aspects of it.
I'm currently working on my second deal. I'm mainly interested in the buy and hold strategy to build residual income, once my monthly residual income covers my bills I'll become a full time investor.
