Hello! My name is Tavoris Lawrence and I am new to the world or Real Estate Investing & Bigger Pockets. I have however been reading up on the subject matter for over eight years now and I'm ready to put what I have learned to work. I'm also eager to gain even more knowledge while making new contacts/friends in the making.
I am a father of three beautiful girls, Commercial Pre-Construction Manager and a Navy Reservist (Construction Battalion). My goal is to slowly build a portfolio of buy and hold multi-family rentals while I work my other jobs. This is challenging but possible right? I welcome any and all advice from the Bigger Pockets community!
I have bought 5 properties in my lifetime. I rented 2 of them, rehabbed and flipped one. I've had 2 successful short sales currently renting looking to purchase owner occupied. I have loan originator experienc, and looking to experience most aspect of real estate acquisitions, education, exit strategies, and portfolio development.
I'd rather have real estate over my 401k for my retirement stability.
