I've been buying properties as investments for many years, typically buy & hold, but have sold a few over the years. I own both multi families and single family properties. I flip properties as well, typically only 1 or 2 per year.
Just turned 40 this year (2014) and I realize the 9-5 job may not provide me with the retirement I want, even though I love my job. Currently I am a sales rep in the electrical wholesale industry calling on the top contractors in Kansas City.
