I'd like to get involved in real estate investing obviously for money but as something I can teach and pass down to my son. I have worked very hard in the auto manufacturing business for years and now I'm ready to make some "real" money. Problem is, I know absolutely nothing about real estate.

Purchased my first home in 1984 - got a 12% interest rate (fixed) and was ecstatic! Actually it was on a 3, 2, 1 Buydown so I had a super low 9% first year rate, followed by 10% then 11% and fixing for the final 27 years at the great rate of 12%!
