I am new to investing. I retired out of the military two years ago and I'm tired of just making it, and I have dreams of helping people have affordable housing. I was tempted to pay thousands so that I can learn how to invest properly, but I keep researching because I knew there had to be a better way. I am hoping that this community can help...

I am married with four children and by the end of the year I will be medically retiring from the Army. I have wanted to get into buying houses for the purpose of fix & flipping and rental property for a few years, but due to travel and deployments it wasn't the time.
