As an investment, real property trumps all other markets. Even in a down market, if you bought low, and didn't over leverage yourself, you still own your property, which can be sold or rented...Stocks come with hopes of "compound interest" that can evaporate without so much as a whimper, after the fund manager takes his 2%.
