Late 40's married man looking for other investment avenues; have done normal stocks, mutual funds, IRA, Roth but looking to get into real estate investing as another vehicle to take me where I want to go.
I have been involved in real estate, first as a builder and then just building my own house, living in it for a number of years, selling, rebuilding, then repeat.
I am now considering leaving my full time employment and flipping full time.
I have been in construction most of my life, not all has been home construction. I do have a few years as cabinet maker and worked for a gc for a couple years. I am very electrical and mechanically inclined. My wife and I have been looking to get into real estate for a couple of years, we just need to make the "leap".
