Novice real estate investor - prepping for my first investment pursuit. Specifically targeting properties in South Jersey.

I work for the University of Chicago doing all Ipm and structural advising currently. I am 29yrs old and a single dad. I do a lot of regular investing as it is, but would like to add back REI. I want to get back into real estate to ensure me and my daughter have a bright and wonderful future.
