I am relatively new to investing but am learning quick. Bought my first property Jan 2015 which turned into a rental. I didn't realize it then but this is the house hacking strategy used by many new investors on BP. I now have a goal to own 50 SFR properties in no more than 5 years. I have a non-RE day job and I look to buy and hold rental properties with non-negative cashflow, preferably near the Bay Area. I house hacked my own residence.
