My name is Tom Laskey, and I’m a newbie from Atlanta! I have been recently consuming as much real estate knowledge as possible, and hope to purchase my first house hack with my investing partner in the next 2 months.
I am a Veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard. I am currently working as an Independent Adjuster. I have held a Contractor's lic, RE lic, CAM lic to manage HOA's, and had my own home inspection business.
Software developer, almost finished coursework on an MBA from Babson College, project manager, empty nester of 2 college kids.
About to start on my real estate journey. I will soon get my real estate license and I plan on selling single family homes and flipping properties.

My background is architecture and construction management. I have built several custom homes for myself and designed and managed construction of many hundred in my 40 years in the industry. Currently buying fixers and doing the work mostly myself.
I'm sort of a jack of all trades and I'm looking to become a professional real estate investor, I've listened to some podcasts and ordered a bunch of books obviously I love rich dad poor dad and I'm thrilled to network and see what I can make happen!
