The logical first step was to go to my credit union, with whom I have a good history, to get the extra $15K to complete the job via personal loan, perhaps with a lien on my vehicle to ensure its approval.

If one has a preference for trucks or other large vehicles over the IRS weight limit you receive full benefit of depreciation (up to business use).Currently the code limits business car deprecation to basically a Honda Accord price point.

It is a chattel sale (i.e. the same as selling a car) so whatever your vehicle laws are would apply (including needing to be licensed by the state to sell vehicles possibly).

You can PM if you want it.As for buying cash or using financing, well its just a matter of how much risk you are willing to accept as it obviously has an impact on your returns and especially your leverage.In the end, there are so so many investment vehicles out there that offer a good return you should be able to live off the passive income of that 700K.
