With experience you can become a valuable investors agent but it takes working in the day to day stuff yourself long enough to learn it. 

The bookstore has some great books and the podcast is full of valuable information.

Wasn’t sure if those types of partnerships exist, or if that is just not valuable to anyone with cash to invest.Ultimately my goal is home ownership, by way of owner/investor property (to help offset my own mortgage).

The article also doesn't mention if the landlord can charge late fees during this time.
