Plus the time commitment to manage a vacation rental isn't really an option for me since I travel a ton for work.Once I move out this place (plan is 5 years) I will definitely be on the Summer Rental MLS listing.

Hey guys, so a couple things are going on right now: my mom (who is a veteran) is ready to retire in peace but needs help to do so and I currently own a travel trailer and am looking for a place to park it and potentially live in it for a while.

If you have time to devote you can make the numbers work some places, but you really have to go there and spend time, develop relationships, get to know brokers....it's a ton of work and a ton of travel.

Even more telling is if they weren't evicted during that time - IE they had a bad financial collapse but still made a way to get the rent paid.Equally, medical bills are a common culprit that doesn't really reflect a persons willingness to pay their debts.
