But the goal would be to buy property and rent it at "Fair Market Value" lol and this term also got some flak in other groups.

Without boring you with our analysis, at a 50% occupancy rate it would net us about the same as renting it out long-term.  

If you buy a condo in one of these locations and rent it out short-term, does the condo complex usually handle rentals, or do you need to find a manager?
