I hope your mortgage broker is a person of outstanding character but the fact is, he or she would be getting a double pay day in this scenario.

Handy person should be able to do it.  

Personally owner financing to me is the most overrated investment strategy on the planet right now (and I am a mortgage note investor).

Or if the person you're working with is a broker, and the original lender doesn't offer that option, they can take your file to another investor.

You need to have a lot of trust in that company because you have a lot of eggs in one basket.Model 2 you are not beholden to any one person, but you have a whole bunch of subs you are coordinating with and are hoping they all play nice in the sandbox.   

We currently charge less then half of that for a simple tax filing like that, but may not offer the level of advisory and guidance that this person does.
