You normally need an EIN to open up a bank account for an entity.There is no such thing as 'backdating' an EIN.Normally, you need to wait some time for the IRS to register the EIN in their date base for you to start e-filing the return.I think you should have enough time to e-file a partnership return by the March 15th deadline.best of luckSo just to clarify, the property was bought by n November 2021.

If by development you mean property in which it is your primary intent to sell like a fix n flip, or a piece of raw land to develop and sell lots then no that would not qualify.
