I'm under the impression that most of the auctions in Illinois are public sales in each county.You need to verify the type of auction and determine the payment requirements.Live auctions are usually cash, bank money order, or bank certified check at time of auction.

While it does vary state to state, even if it is allowed in a state it's probably a bad idea to use it as I think it would open you up for liability as it may give the impression your company performs real estate brokerage services.
