If we wanted to sell it now, would we pay capital gains tax since we transferred it to our business?

I am looking to invest in a rental property in SC it could be commercial or residential.

The plan is to move into the new home, live in it for 2 years, and then repeat the process of purchasing additional properties.Additionally, while we continue to build equity in our current home, we plan to rent it out.

It's difficult trying to predict where the rates will go.
