I started my sales career selling fuller brush door to door at 14.. it creates life long skills.My dad did door hangers for his real estate business for two decades that's the only way he got leads.but keep in mind he did it on steroids we had a huge printing press in our garage and I printed the door hangers after school. and then we would grab all the neighborhood kids on sat sun to put them out door to door..once he scaled it even bigger U pick up paper passers at the homeless shelters.. did this for ever.. cheapest way to create leads and hundreds if not thousands of them .

Having shared that, my extended family acquired its 'empire' (as I like to refer to it) by forming partnerships with friends and family; it is an alliance that has been maintained and valued for decades. 

If you can sprinkle some identity politics on top of it then you just have a perfect recipe of how to run Democrat state/county for decades.

One self limiting belief that took me over a decade to conquer was the courage to fail.

This is exactly how I started over a decade ago! 

Finally look for local, lightly-traveled lanes and alleys that haven't been repaved in decades but go over your branch line.

To venture out-of-state at this early stage of your business adds complexity and chaos that you simply don't need when the focus should be on building your reputation, credibility, and knowledge/skill set.The Tampa Bay market and Florida in general is in a housing crisis and inventory is at historical lows - and has been for a decade.
