Loopnet seemed to offer varied online exposure to the WSJ online commercial ads daily as well as other news classified on top of their website traffic.  

It seemed a better place for me to make my daily toil.  

My good friend is an agent so I asked him to set up a daily search for all new listings within half-mile from my house.

Since the city finally got it's bankruptcy ruling approved, and the feds have dumped mega bucks into the city, and the city finally has a Mayor (and other leadership) that is actually business minded instead of politically motivated, (all of which is happening simultaneously for a reason), you are seeing a lot of progress on a daily basis...but, the only ones who see it are those with actual "boots on the ground".What everyone else hears is a rehash of the comments from decades of "deserved" criticism.   

Find your leak / moisture first and fix.  

The exterior walls have moisture at the bottom that led to mildew on the bottom part of the sheet rock.

Also I find that reading the forum on a daily basis really helps and listening to the podcast, I would suggest podcast 66 Michael blank just because he's in this area and talks about raising money.

I highly recommend it as well as the low or no money down, but I would read the beginners guide first since your not sure what exactly you want to do.There's a lot of information on BP read some of the blogs, come to the forums daily, then WRITE down what you want to do and do it.And I would suggest going to meet up.com and finding some local RE clubs.

Ideally, some of those super powerful fans that blow right along the floor.Get a moisture meter off amazon and monitor the water content of the framing. 

Then apply those formulas to properties as they come on the market daily in order to gain a numerical understanding of what you are looking for.
