I have no idea exactly what they did, if they showed houses or whatever, but the bottom line is: if the state issues fines, files criminal charges, or simply issues a cease a desist order that is the end of these guys M/O.

Other than that (from what I read) it really doesn't protect you from liability if you are managing the properties and a court can order full disclosure of property ownership for a number of different civil and criminal complaints.I may not be a 100% correct on this.

Though for repeat offenders, perhaps they could consider it a criminal offense.I have no idea...and I'm sure every jurisdiction will have it's own rules/penalties...
