Rules change, neighbors have someone to complain to, increasing assessments and dues can eat into cashflow, short term rental guests do not tend to follow community rules (parking violations, noise complaints, etc). 

When they do forget to pay rent on time, my system automatically tacks on late fees which they don’t complain about as it is minor compared to their high incomes(5-8x rent).  

So, the exact same people who complain about the undocumented workers use them every day of the week for gardeners, to clean around their homes and for every construction service when they pick the undocumented workers up at Home Depot.

I use it like some ppl use quickbooks.Out of the 4/5 yrs we’ve been using it I’ve only had one tenant complain.

Now granted, it might be a filter issue, but the underlying thing remains the same-- big houses, big bills =  tenants complaining for good reason.    

He called me this morning complaining of a foul smell that it is unlivable.

Meaning, if you act dumb and get yourself a dumb deal, good luck complaining about it later, a Judge will for most part say "well why'd you do that dummy?". 

When they see you buy, see you rehab and put up for sale again in 3 months, and never move in, then they complain, and investigation probably starts. 

Whenever I hear their stories, my perspective changes and realize I have no reason to be complaining. 

We can complain all we want but it won't change things.
