Hello, My name is Clark and I been buying and selling apartments for over 15 years in both AZ and CA. 

I currently reside in Orange County California.

It depends on the area, but I doubt you'll be able to find one in CA for that price.

It does absolutely nothing for investors except tie up liquid assets in a vehicle where the funds can be lost overnight as everyone saw in California, Nevada, Arizona, and Florida in 2008-9, create a negative rate of return and increase tax liability.

I purchased a single family fixer upper in CA that is in an HOA community.

Cities we are considering include, but are not limited to Pittsburg, Philadelphia, Memphis, Atlanta, Milwaukee, and Riverside County, CA.  

(do a search) We have one in Lake Forest, CA and there's a few young guys that come to itAlso, there have been threads in the past from young investors, do a search.
