An overarching passive income managing agent, with tax and LLC/trust expertise would be the perfect fit. 

Even when taxes and insurance and mowing and water/sewer prices go up.

Other than that, with only one meter, the owner will have to pay for both houses and build that into the rent. 

Hi Abhishek...Are you set on Detroit or are you open to other markets with a low barrier of entry, good job growth, good population growth, low property taxes, and a solid turnkey company with boots on the ground?

Eg if owning a house for the mortgage, insurance and taxes alone would cost you over $3000 a month (mortgage alone on a 25 year amortization for $500K is $3000 a month, goes down to $2700 on a 30 yr mortgage). 

Think about your taxes on Form 1065, specifically how your K-1s will look in the future.

Is it that there is huge inventory of newer buildings like over at Harbor Point etc, or Stamford is not a desirable area for people to rent?
