I was planning to start a new load for the 2nd house but both working parent with a newborn baby was a struggle. so I decided to left my job. which I think was the bad decision because now I know that I can't get the 2nd house to invest as I wish. sum this up, me and my husband, we both can't get a new home loan.

And huge congrats on your upcoming baby- it is a HUGE life change for sure but in the best possible way! 

I would go to collect rent and they are sitting there wearing expensive Under Armour clothing, eating McDonalds and watching cable TV.

I love fixer-uppers, but I have my first baby coming in a month and that's not a good combination!

Over the years, I've read many books on real estate investing, trainings, etc with the hope of making it happen as an investor but then I got a new job, moved, and had 3 babies in pretty close succession which delayed my plans a bit.
