I have my license with Keller Williams at the office on 306 in Mentor.

I was with:Keller Williams from 2004 - 2008An independent broker from 2008-2009Set up my own independent brokerage in 2009bought a Century 21 franchise in 2012Went back to being an independent broker in 2014Here is what I have learned:  If you want to be a traditional residential real estate agent, you should probably join one of the big name brokerages (at least for the first couple of years) so you can benefit from all of the available training and experienced agents.If your goal is to do investment real estate, then don't waste your money going to a big name brokerage.

Learn how the system works while you can be on base and have access to those resources.We have a new military division at Keller Williams if you have interest in getting connected and networking with other agents who were former military and want to become an agent yourself.Good luck and best wishes.

I'm a brand new real estate agent (Keller Williams, got my license in late December) and I'm looking to meet with individuals, or companies, that could guide me through my first couple of investment deals so I know what a good deal and a bad deal looks like, because if I lose money I can't make more deals and if you lose money you won't work with me anymore so I want to make sure I get it right the first time!

Following up on what William said, if you want to invest in New Britain, I would target the areas that boarder Newington and West Hartford.
