I think there are people operating very successful rental properties in East Lansing, but it’s unique enough and property taxes are steep enough there, that many landlords and property management companies that’s operate in Lansing don’t operate in East Lansing.  

I believe CA has unique value add opportunities at this time and that it is a good time to be an RE investor in San Diego. 

So I was thinking about a way to tap into the unique skill set to add another piece to the puzzle.

Of course I say all this but it might be entirely unique to my city.

Although I agree with the general message that every deal is unique, I believe the whole point of this forum is specifically to advise BP members if those deals have potential or not.

You should be working on your long-term vision but right now you don't have any unique and valuable skills to achieve your vision, so you don't have the option to be specific about your path right now.See that this is the case, your path right now is to find any way you can gain experience in real estate and/or real estate investing.

one part says its only the outside structure and you still have to put in the windows, doors, roof, plumbing, electrical. basically all you have is concrete siding. you still have to frame the inside to install insulation and drywall. i feel its the same concept as container homes, a unique way to build but not necessarily a better revolutionary way.
