It may sound trivial, but going through basic exercises and putting pen to paper can really put all sorts of things into perspective.  

However, there are several things that need replaced\upgraded.  

I just dropped 15k on a bathroom remodel and replacing all weathered wood windows with new vinyl double pain windows on a duplex building.

I've tried nearly a half dozen other systems and MileIQ has made me BACK thousands of dollars.I have not tried TAxBot but that sounds pretty cool too.  

Not sure how long of a life before you would need to replace any parts.

I hate to sound mistrusting, but it is going to be difficult enough to get this situation taken care of without adding to the tax debt by owing these additional fees.

It sounds like you would like to get some money by getting a second mortgage on the house? 

As far as who's going to pay, it sounds like you will either have AC if you pay, or won't if you don't.
