I'm not talking about shortcuts like people reporting real cash costs as expenses that could/should be capitalized, or rounding up the value of their charitable contributions or estimating mileage, or just lumping everything into "supplies" because its easier or other grey areas - but not reporting actual income just because they didn't get a 1099?

For example, mine is the square root of my address rounded to the first two numbers divided by the day date of my birth minus one followed by the highway number to my other address at the lake followed by the middle numbers of that address then followed by my dog's rabies tag number then my first girlfriend's initials ending with my grandmother's first name.

The lakes won't be cheap if it's a great property with a view, but they should have a solid short-term rental base nearly year-round. 

I currently own 2 long-term rentals, one in Round Rock and one in Louisiana, but a business partner and I like the idea of acquiring a short-term rental somewhere around the lake.
