I assume you are also going to want to have a property manager to drop in occasionally to oversee the cleaning team, landscaper, and handyman - and to make sure the guests get the keys and to replace missing or lost keys.Regarding Linden Hills, its a great area for guests who have cars and it's a short Uber ride away from the night life in Uptown or Downtown, but I would have thought it would be better to be on a bus or light rail route that has more direct linkage to downtown, or to find something closer to Uptown.   

We lived like monks throughout school, eating rice and beans, riding our bicycles in the rain to class, traveling/sleeping in our Honda CRV for vacations, and working internships during the breaks to save for our downpayment.

You could also do horseback riding, mountain biking, etc-more adventure holidays.

If you're starting out, I'd recommend somewhere you can get to within a car ride.

This particular franchise does not corporately guarantee their franchisee leases, so the strength of the lease rides on the experience and credit worthiness of the franchisee.

In Texas it happens fast and it wont cost much, in CA you are in for a ride, in Puerto Rico it will take forever.
