We keep all business and personal separate for a number of reasons, and I highly recommend it for everyone dealing with the general public on a day-to-day basis.

Personally, I'd recommend looking into areas like East Rock and Westville as they're considered "safer", though most multi's seem to be in-between the two areas.

I'd recommend listening to some podcasts or watching some youtube videos about real estate investors who have seen some success and figuring out what that looks like for you.Happy investing !
