If my STR property qualifies for the STR loophole then can my long term rental property deductions then be brought over to offset my active income like being a real estate professional? 

If you own them outright, of course they do, but then you are giving up massive opportunity to invest somewhere else like Phoenix/Las Vegas, etc, where you might possibly have cash flow and appreciation.
