What neighborhoods in South Side are you looking into?

I've bought 2 residential lots in established neighborhoods that I'm holding onto.

You can go east of the 205 just fine-you just need to watch the neighborhoods.

It would be nice to have some equity to capitalize on, but if the house is in the right neighborhood and the repairs are truly cosmetic, it could be a contender. 

If you shopped only on interest rate, you could find out there were some built in penalties to protect the lender in case you refinanced in the future. 

I'm heading over for the weekend to do some house shopping :) 

On the purchase side, when shopping for a home, one listed by open door on the MLS with a sign in the drive way didn't even show up on their app to view the home, so they missed a potential sale. 

I’m also marginally terrified of how tenant-friendly this state is.I’m now investing in NC and I’m having difficulty finding deals that are worthwhile in my target neighborhoods, though I understand things are really tightening up in most areas of the country.
