I keep hoping for an extremely strong China economy + a massive improvement in their pollution challenges so the mainland Chinese would reinvest in their own country. :) I know, I'm just selfish that way.

I would probably shy away from any sort of land lease - 2063 is a considerably long period of time, but depending on when you decide to sell the house, the lease then becomes a bigger issue in the consideration of the next buyer - can lead to a massive blow in resale value.

People buying 500k+ cabins at 10 percent which you still can’t really get anything below 500k and talk about adding value are facing a massive uphill battle.I’ve said before that the lower returns are going to push people to either sell or go to a property manager.

We could replace one or both yards and do turf or rocks, but again that's another massive out of pocket expense.We would have the tenants pay the utilities.

The level of competiton in the industry is unprecedented, even my 79yr old grandmother has noticed the massive influx of SS facilities. 

Nowhere near Huntsville level, but in a few years you will see the massive growth in the quad-cities. 

I've definitely seen a softening in the STR returns this year.  2020-2021 was massively profitable but our local STR market is softening a little.  

In Houston MSA there're massive boom of build-to-rent new construction  project development.

I house hack a four unit and it wasnt until I did a massive value add was I able to see the savings mentioned above.
