I have specifically been looking into rehab & sell investing in the NYC area (Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island).

I am starting my real estate ambitions in Rhode Island.

Started as a welder in Morgan City, LA and got my 100 ton Captains license as I had owned a yacht for six years and sailed to all the islands in the Caribbean on the way to Brazil and Argentina.

I'm sure its tough to find properties in that range- investor activity has driven up asking prices throughout the 5 boroughs and Long Island. 

We plan to take out a wall and add an island to open the kitchen up, take the carpet out of the bathrooms (yes, really), replace most of the flooring, finish the 4th bedroom and the rest of the basement, and various other minor updates.

I have two beachfront condos in Marco Island.  

I work on all the islands.

Obviously the main concern here is getting involved into a large loan, jobs drying out, and my park becoming a deserted island. 

He lives on James Island.

Kitchen will have all amenities including dishwasher, fridge, oven, garbage disposal, walk-in pantry with microwave, eat-in island, etc.
