People definitely make a lot of excuses why X doesn't happen, spend their money on non-income producing endeavors, and engage in other counterproductive behavior if wealth is a primary goal.

One minute she is all about my endeavors and then the next day she is completely the opposite.

But it won't be in San Diego...sorry...As for your particular endeavor, I don't see that impacting the 'housing problem' at all.

Real Estate is not my passion as much as it is a source of income to fuel my other passions (creative endeavors, financial freedom, more freedom to travel, etc.).

Frederic BastiatIn other words, you will be far better off first making certain the implementation of your own value system within your own life endeavors actually matches your supposedly higher standards -- before broadly generalizing about the alleged lesser character traits of others. 

I also think with the thousands of discussions and threads here on BP, that anyone who thinks this discussion is not relevant to them or their real estate endeavors could easily go find another BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR thread and dive in.For me the most pressing issue to my real estate endeavors is the virus.
