How are you going to find the idiot with a few hundred K burning a hole in his pocket?

Besides burning the place down ;) Aren't there laws against bringing down the property values in a neighborhood?

I had $210k burning a hole in my pocket and was able to get under contract on 4 duplexes in Chattanooga and close on them before the naming period was even up.  

I'm buying properties in Detroit proper (currently three under contract).As everyone will tell you, you really need to understand the micro markets or you will get burned. 

I understand that a gas burning appliance in a bedroom could be a potential safety hazard however from what I have read, this seems to be common thing in Chicago and I couldn't find anywhere that this is a direct code violation for the city.My question is, is this something that I can get by with having a CO detector placed in the bedroom?

All those big shots on flyers, buses, benches, post boards etc.. burn 25% of their commission. 

Most class D landlords I know get burned out pretty quick. 

Also that they would never burn anyone given the fact that they want current investors to feel secure if they invest in the new program.
