@Zach Mitchell I'll give them the benefit of the doubt before disclosing their name and maybe give them an undeserved bad reputation :)This person is more like a project manager but he prices the work himself and I pay him, not the workers.

Keep in mind the shorter the term, higher the interest, lower LTV, higher borrower credit, strong pay history, all add up to higher resale.

You are trying to get his general thoughts on his being open to it or more closed off based on bad experiences in the past.If he seems neutral to positive you could bring up you are thinking of bringing in a partner on a deal and start talking about the property and details.
