Granted, you say a couple true things.In Jan 2017, California passed a law that prohibits local municipalities from prohibiting ADUs (additional dwelling units). 

In addition to reading the books and going to meet ups, I'd also recommend the BP podcasts.

LOL.The "deal" you mentioned is missing so much info ($$$numbers) that you can't say it's good or bad.Bad deals are always getting "called out". 

Additionally, you need a local licensed structural/civil engineer for the structural scoops.

We like that the system asks the prescreening questions and handles the scheduling of the showings, although I have had the very same people with very same contact info re-answer the questions until they pass and Showmojo didn't block them...but they have made blocking people who don't meet the criteria way easier now.
