They may feel average or mediocre at best about their own accomplishments.

Ask "what do I need to do by ___ Date to accomplish my previous goal."1/1/18 close on a 4-plex"What do I need to do by 10/1/17 to close on a 4-plex by 1/1/18?"

@Ivy Hailey - I agree with @Stephanie Potter : for what you're trying to accomplish, it does sound like an FHA 203K loan is best for you.

Stay away from Viking.That said, Bosch makes fantastic stuff for a much lower price (owned by same company as Thermadore) that sill looks very high end and has really good performance (with the possible exception of their fridges, which are meh).You could also accomplish something similar with nicer LG or GE Cafe, also at a fraction of the high end cost.

I would recommend shopping around for the right lender for what you're trying to accomplish.
