And the bank is still only borrowing at 80% LTV; there's a higher chance now that i get that refi because the amount i'm requesting would probably be closer to that 80% then the appraised value of the house right?.

If you have the chance to look up investor clubs then I would highly recommend attending some meetings to meet other investors and vendors here locally.  

I got the sense (since I am in sales) that they panicked when I said I want to stall, which means there is a chance I can find another lender, etc.
