My vacation rental performed really well during tourist season, then poorly for the other 6-7 months.

Looking for the value add features like the 2nd lot give you options and flexibility in the years to come.

I am talking about getting a loan from a place like Mosaic or PACE and buying the panels.

Is this typical to have 1 year leases and be treated more like a residential rental? 

As we are just starting our initial research on which markets we would like to focus on, we came across, Shelby, NC.  

Willing to travel a few hour radius as well. 

Some municipalities like Dekalb County and Decatur require the homeowner to live on the property.ADUs should be at most 40% of the main residence's floor space, with a maximum size of 800 square feet in some areas.

Places like Lakewood, Old Brooklyn, Brooklyn Centre, Edgewater, Jefferson and West Boulevard are some places that'll be good to check out.

I’ll be moving to Fairfield county and commuting to my day job in NYC.From central ct originally so would like to be closer to home..a garage and car would also be nice ;)
