It's a bit like the difference between a "marketing" gigabyte (1,000,000,000 bytes) and a true gigabyte (2^30 or 1,073,741,824 bytes) when talking storage capacity ... not precisely the same, but close enough {though the gap in my analogy is actually larger}.

The home sets on 1.85 Acres with orchard and outside storage.

The 3/1 duplex I am about to live in will at least get 1700-2000 for the 3 (if I add storage for rent on the premises) and $900 for the 1.The million dollar question is how to hit the reset button and grab a tri or four plex where the numbers work.After my foreclosures meetup last night, my haunch is I should shoot for tris and 4-plexes where the owners are desperate to get out of their mortgage commitments.

Does anyone have any experience using a self storage kiosk?  

Keep a copy of the disclosure form, with their signatures, in their tenant file and prepare to keep them in archived storage long after they have departed.

If you look closely you can see that unlike most traditional "ROW HOUSES" there is a 6 foot space between each home allowing for a walk way from front to back, trash container storage, outside shower, flower beds and landscape on each side.I'm currently in an escrow transaction and close to closing on this property.

The property does not have a garage, but I will most likely add an 8' x 12' shed in the back yard for storage.  

As a garage, they may choose to use it for the cars or for storage or as a gym or extra room etc.

I have a metal storage rack there now to keep stuff off the ground - I could leave it with them? 

The property also has a garage so I might charge extra for the people who want to use it and maybe storage space in the basement as well.
