Working with a remote CPA who has experience in real estate is better than working with a local CPA who does not serve real estate investors.

I went to the site to cancel, and they still took the money out of my account. they said i didnt follow through with the process, that i had to ctually go into my cart and cancel. so now i have to call my bank. zillow is a rip off.

I will definitely look into affordability within CA, the 203k option (how prominent those are in my area), as well as continue to educate myself with the greater minds found on this site in the forums! 

I have, however, a somewhat close relationship with the landlord I've rented from for the 8 years previous to buying my house, so somewhat familiar with the in's and out's and frustrations of rental properties.I'm just getting my toes wet and listening to YouTube videos, podcasts, reading content on the site, etc.

I assume it depends on the agent's ethics and whether the agent is serving your best interest.

I came across this awesome site while researching real estate investing and the many different topics associated with it.

If you can't find someone on the site, I recommend running numbers on trulia and seeing what pops up there.

When advertising a property for rent, I link directly to the listing on that site and prospective tenants pay the $40 fee.
